Andy is a native Houstonian and was educated in local parochial schools. He attended Arizona State University and graduated Cum Laude from the University of Houston. Andy received his doctor of dental surgery from the University of Texas Dental School in Houston and has been in private practice since 1978.

His practice and his home are located in Spring, Texas. Andy and his wife Mary, have three children, Kristan, Matthew, and Marisa. He enjoys fishing, playing tennis, running marathons, Bible Study, and living life to the fullest.

Andy is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, as well as the local affiliations. He has twice served as Chairman of the "Star of the South" dental conference held annually in Houston. He is currently on the Council of Annual Sessions for "The Texas Meeting", serving as general chairman in 2007. Andy is a Fellow in the American College of Dentistry, the Academy of Dentistry International and the International College of Dentists. Andy has completed four Continuums at the Pankey Institute of Dentistry, a prestigious and rigorous study program for continuing dental education.

Andy is also very active in our local community serving as a volunteer dentist for Northwest Assistance Ministries and is a volunteer for "Texas Dentists for Healthy Smiles", sponsored by the Texas Dental Association. Andy has provided dental health education and entertainment to more than 70,000 children in over 25 years of presentations in local public and private schools.
